Doesn't seem to be updating past 5.016

I've prefetched all of the Up2Date updates through 5.021, and i was able to successfully install 5.016 (this was the first update it fetched, and it pulled the others in afterwards), but it looks like that is as far as it will go... When I saw that it had prefetched through 5.021, i tried to install .021, and it brings up the log and says that it is installing. But it never does. After the install is 'Done', my Release version in WebAdmin is still 5.016. Any ideas?

I've tried installing the .021 update several times, and i've even tried to install the updates btwn .016 and .021, but still no effect. Here is the log when trying to install .021:

    Login to the console with root and do a "df -k" - look for the remaining space in /var/up2date.

    I had a similar problem when I tried to update from 5.005 to 5.019 - my disk is too small (with all the pre-fetched packages) and so the update process didn´t work when ASL tried to unpack the update.

    In this case just delete the latest update and maybe the one before so there will remain enough disk space...

    I tried deleteing everything but the .017 file and then installing it, but still no luck. I also tried deleting all but the .021 file, but it won't install until the .020 fix is installed.

    This shouldn't be a space problem as it is a 20GB HDD, (not sure how much is in this particular partition, though), but I'm open to any help I can get.

    It looks like everything went fine, but there is no change to the box and subsequent packages don't recognize that .017 is loaded.

    Depending on how many "work" you already invested in configuring your ASL you might want to install a newer/higher ASL version from cd and try it again.

    BTW: what size is your harddrive?

    bad luck in this case,
    newest iso is still 5.015 ....

    but did you check left spave in /var/up2date ?

    df -h
    will show free space on each partition
