This does not look like a valid MAC address

Under "Network" "DHCP Server" "Current IP Leasing Table" I see an adpter with the following MAC Adress: " 00:04:23:7f:05:6a". When I try to copy it into the static mapping section of the internal interface to give it always the same adress, I get the error message: "This does not look like a valid MAC address". Any ideas?

  • I just started with Astaro, and had exactly the same problem.  When I copied the MAC address in my browser, I was also copying a leading "space" character.  Just drop the leading space and you should be all set.
