v.4 -> v.5 Rule-Set Connections

Hi,

I have upgraded from 4.022 to v.5.017, everything was very fine imported, but for now, I can not get my webradio, or my pop3 connection from my personal server at home.
The rules seems to be OK, and it worked before!
All other Mails and internet traffic is working.
I want, that my ip can access everything in the internet and nothing is blocked.

Anyone any idea?

    When packets don't seem to be getting through as they should, pull up the filter livelog and see what's being rejected.  Have you tried this?  The filter livelog is, among other things, a built-in troubleshooting tool.

    In my case the problem is that livelog shows outgoing packets as allowed but now answer comes in. My rules and masquerading settings are ok. it's just that the imported ones don't work. But when I build the very same rules from scratch in V5 they work. When I first encountered this problem I deleted most of the imported configuration and just left an any-any-allow rule and proper masquarading. that still didn't work out. After that I deleted all setting and set up these setting manually and voila it worked.

    I still have now clue how to fix this.

    Good news from my side. When I encountered these problems I used V5.016. Since then some updates were released. Yesterday I tried again with V5.021 and everything worked.

    I tried to reconstruct my situation from back then with V5.016 but had no success doing so. Now even the old version worked out. What I found out is that after importing the V4 configuration into V5 ofcouse the old license isn't valid anymore. You have to use the new license files. Back then I first imported my old configuration and then installed the new license. Now I first installed the license and then imported the configuration. Perhaps the first way some important options the user doesn't see were not set right.
