Exclude Intrusion Protection from automatic update

Hi,

When new Intrusion Protection patterns are installed, the firewall looses connection with the network, and our IPSec tunnel gets closed. Is it possible to exlude these patterns from the hourly automatic update, so that only the virus scanner get updated?

I use Release 5.017.

    Hi gunny,

    we are working on an improved version of the Up2Date service. Only the IPS sub system will be restarted when an IPS pattern update is applied. This should solve your problem and make a special exclusion of the IPS pattern update unnecessary. We are going to fix this issue in an upcoming Up2Date package.
