ID the Interfaces with a BLink?

Hello All! Does anyone know if thier is a way to ID the Interfaces quickly. I have 6 NIC's all the same. The system by default assigns eth0 as the Default Webadmin port. I am in the process of designing my configuration, it would be nice to be able to send a "blink" command to eth 0-5 to locate it on the back of the PC. Does anyone know of a way to do this other than creating an Interface assigning an IP and then pluging in an Ethernet cable and testing?? Thanks

A lot of cards now actually have the MAC address attached to the backside of the PCB on a small sticker. (For onboard NIC's, check in the BIOS).

I always write the last two MAC characters on the outside of the PCI bracket with a "sharpie marker".

Yes thanks for your suggestion. I only had 3 PCI slots so I decided to change the order, and bing-go they started working! Sure would be nice if thier were a conflict warning message of some type. Still having problems routering between WAN interface and Internal Interface. I had to delete my default gateway address??
Seems like it will not support more than one gateway?? Strange I thought I could create more than one WAN interface with ASL5.

Good Idea!! Yes I have labeled them for sure know that I have figured out which is which. Sure would be nice if they added this functionality in upcoming releases!

you can..the second WAN interface is designed to backup the first one in case the first one fails
