Graphic Mode Problems at Boot time on ASL 5.015

Hello,

I'm having troubles when booting ASL 5.015... where the nice graphic display of the ASL booting is not displayed anymore.

Before I was using a Compaq Deskpro EN (PII 350) and it was
perfect, now I've installed ASL on a Deskpro EN (PIII 900) and
I get the following error:

"Please select video Mode, press space bar to continue or wait 30 seconds".

Is it because of a different video card that is not recognized by ASL?

Hi Neko,

maybe your VGA-adapter or your board does not support this mode ?
Did you try already with nosplash option ?!?

I'm not really an expert on linux systems... what do you mean for nosplash option? should I set it in booting configuration somewhere?

Now I don't have anymore the error on boot... but of course I don't see the nice graphical boot screens anymore ...
