Problem with eths

Hi,

i have 5 NICs in my Firewall. 4x Intel and one internal Micro Star. The Astaro says that eth4 is the MicroStar NIC and i've choosend it as the Administrative NIC. After booting i can reach the Firewall on this NIC but it say that eth0 is the Administrative NIC. The Summary on the Network/Interfaces Menu shows eth0 as one of the Intel NICs so i created a new Interface on eth4. Now i can reach eth0 and eth4 but only one of them is definitely connected. After deleting eth0 i cannot reach the Firewall anymore. Anbody knows some help?

    Hi,

    you could try to plug the ethernet cables into other NICs (probably you have to reconfigure network settings on your administration machine to get connected). Or simply re-install ASL.

    There are some issues with NIC ID - sometimes they are permuted and don't show the real situation. It will be fixed soon. You can use MAC adresses to figure out the proper interface - this data is correct.

    I reinstalled ASL yesterday and chossed another NIC for adminstration. Thanks for your reply. This was really strange, i have never seen this before.
