DHCP Server on second internal network

Hello,

i am using 2 networks on the the internal (LAN) side of my astaro. One small official net and a additional net with private ips. So i bind a second ip to my internal nic. Now i want to set up a dhcp server for the private network, but in the web frontend i can only choose the official net on the internal nic for setup. What can i do ?

    For starters, don't bind two separate networks to the same Ethernet card. Just because it is technically possible to do it, does not make it a good idea. You are violating a basic rule for creating Ethernet segments. Any given Ethernet segment should have just ONE net number, and ONE broadcast address.

    Put an additional Ethernet card in your ASL box, and use it to connect your seperate network. Then you can easily run separate DHCP servers on each network segments.
