V5 demo CD install fails at checksum

I've downloaded the V5 ISO and am running into a
"Verifing checksum...FAILED" msg well into the install
process. The CD boots up and I answer all the initial
set up questions then the checksuming occurs and I
get the failed response.

I see one other user has this despite their CD image
being verified. This iso is ok too. 

I'm installing this Astaro under a VMWare session, if
that makes any difference. I would think not as I have
Win2K server, Lindows, E-Smith, SmoothWall, Ip Cop,
etcetc, and I seem to recall a v4 of Astaro previously.

Any suggestions or links to resolution?

    first is to compare the md5sum of the downloaded ISO 5.015 - it has to be      d922a701a59b8c692ebc411bdd710676     !

    It may also happen that your CD-ROM drive doesn't read the large installation files correctly. Could you please try to install on another machine? In doubt burn a new CD. Normally Astaro installs fine in VMWARE.

    On the installation CD you will find /install/install.md5 which lists md5sums of the installation packages.

    I have the same problem trying to upgrade an inservice V4 system. The ASL-V5 CD boots and gets to the verifying chksum part and fails.

    I burned another CD and verified the md5sums and have the same problem on the 2nd CD. 

    Is there another V4 -> V5 upgrade option besides upgrading the CD-ROM and hoping another one works better?

    I'm having the same checksum error with all iso images after ver 5.0. I've tried different target machines, and different burners. The problem persists. 

    I'm using Spanish keyboard and Peru location.

    Any suggestions?  Or should I stick with US?

    This issue apparently has been solved.  I just downloaded a fresh copy of ASL 5.015.  I burned it on the same machine I used before, and installed it on the same machine I installed before.  Now it works.  No checksum errors.
