V5.0 boot disk

Hi

I am trying to install V5.0 from the iso image i have but the cd doesnt seem to be bootable. I am a complete linux newbie and am not sure how to proceed. Is there a floppy boot disk anywhere?

    hi! slayer
    their is no such thing afaik like a boot diskette available for ASL.
    Burn the CD to be used as a bootable which itself will boot. what u are using for burning your CD like nero or roixio , u could also see a how to on burning ISO imageson  the CD on astaro site then use the CD to install

    Also, burn at low speed, 8x is recommended.  People always report bad cd's when burning at max speed.

    nope..i burn at max speed all the time without issues...there have been reports of errors when burned at max speed..but not always..[:)]
