Link Speed and Duplex

I need to set my link speed and duplex to 10MB/Full on one of my interface cards because of a transparent lan service which requires it otherwise I will get poor performance over the line.  How can I do this in Astaro 5.x?

    Hi,

    login as loginuser at console than change to root.
    Type mii-tool ....
    With that tool you can adjust your network speed.

    Hi thanks!

    Quick question I have several nics in my firewall and I can use the tool to force the connection on some but others give me this message:

    SIOCGMIIPHY on ethX failed: Operation Not supported

    any Ideas why this would be? Other than the obvious "it not being supported".

    These one have chipset which the toll cannot handle... [:(]
    Maybe you can change settings by editing modules.conf with different variables for these nics.

    Read that some cards just don't Suport MII commands. Not good.  I looked at the modules.conf file and if looks like its assigns drivers and aliases to those cards/interfaces.  Don't know how to play around with that. Also if I boot will mii-tool's changes remain or do I need to redo it everytime.
