mentioned the following while migrating an ASL to V5:
After importing the configuration file from V4.022 to V5.013 for the first look everything seemed OK.
Then i mentioned that some network group definitions were missing and therefore also some packet filter rules.
By analyzing the problem i found out that:
It seems that under one/some of the V4 versions (cannot say exactly when) it is possible that if network definitions are deleted, the associated networks group are not changed/updated correctly.
That means that the host is still available in the network group definition (under V4).
By importing this backup file in V5 these network groups are ignored including the depending packet filter rules !
Is there any protocol file of the import available ?
