Astaro Firewall Setup - No IP? Any ideas... ?

I am trying to setup an Astaro v5 firewall to replace my Sonicwall and am having a problem getting an IP address for the WAN interface. The firewall is connected to a cable modem (Motorola SB 5200) and the Adelphia cable network. I have setup the WAN interface in Astaro to use DHCP for the IP, Subnet and Gateway (the Sonicwall was setup as a DHCP client before as well with no problem) but even when I enable the interface in Astaro it still shows down. Have powercycled the cable modem with no luck. Anybody else using Astaro with Adelphia? Am I missing something obvious?

    Here's a couple of ideas to try.  One, try switching out the cable between the cable modem and your Astaro firewall.  Try a crossover and a straight-thru.  You never know, stranger things have occurred.  Secondly, I have seen situations where a NIC card just doesn't seem to want to cooperate.  Pop in a different NIC card (check the hardware compatibility list!), and reload ASL.  When you reload, be sure to use the latest ISO, which is now 5.013.

    Based on what's occurring (the interface shows down even after you enable it), my money is on some sort of physical connection issue between the cable modem and the NIC card in the Astaro box.
