Problem with up2date patch 5.005 tar file

I am having issues updating Astaro, it keeps crashing and giving the following error everytime it hits the v5.005 update;

Sun Jul 4 17:16:20 BST 2004

000 Running Version: 5.004
001 System Up2Date: Started installation upto 5.012
002 Searching for update from 5.004 to 5.005 or higher
003 Verifying signature and decrypt (v 5.005) for //var/up2date/5.005.tar.gpg
004 System Up2Date failed: Could not extract tar

I have gone into /var/up2date and removed both the tar file and 5.005 directories, then downloaded the update (through the webmin interface), but although it says the download has completed successfully and the MD5 verified etc, it will not extract the file and gives the above errors..... anybody have any idea what may be wrong? Can I manually download this update from Astaro somewhere?

What speed is your internet connection?

I had a similar problem downloading the updates as my connection was only a partial t1 256kbps up and down.

I am using a 2Mbps cable line, it downloads the file pretty quickly, as it does with the others, but it just wont unpack the tarball properly, saying its corrupt.... Do you know where I may be able to get hold of the tarball manually?

Does the up2date partition have space to unpack it?

you can download manually here
I remember also a recommendation in the forum, to jump over 5.005 by installing a new ISO version (eg. 5.011).
Maybe it's better to save you config and reinstall, should take about 1/2 hour
