verifying packege checksum -> FAILED

every try to install asl i got the message FAILED when verifying package checksum.
i tried the asl4.0.17.iso and asl5.0.10.iso, i used different cd-roms and different ide-cables.

i have no more idea what's the reason of this error.
Can anybody help me?

do an md5 sum check ont he files you downloaded against hte md5 file in on astaro's download servers.  Download may have gotten hosed jsut enough..[:)]

the current firewall i installed successfully with this cd. so there is nothing wrong with it.

If you've used the same CD before successfully, then you might be dealing with a bad CDROM drive.  Have you tried another drive?

i have tried 3 different cd-rom drives, i tried to use a cd that is burned slowlier and i compared the md5 checksums. always the same effect -> FAILED

tru usingthe noapic option when you boot from the cd-rom.

Can you tell us more about the hardware you're trying to load it on?
