Upgrade RAM

Hi,

After the extended discussion about the Webadmin performance, I want to upgrade my Memory to 512 MB. Do I have to reinstall 5v, or do I just have to put it in and v5 uses the RAM automaticly???

I recently updated the memory in my firewall, but I don't see this upgrade reflected in the reports... The "Max" mem should refect this - is there something else I should be doing?

With that said - how can I prove that ASL is actually recognizing the upgrade?

On the console, 'top' or 'free' or 'vmstat' should all show the (new) total memory amount.

It should show up in the hardware report. I did an upgrade from 448 to 512, changed a slow 64mb chip for a faster 128mb chip and the result showed up on boot in TOP and the hardware report in webadmin.
