when you enter the same network ip to a second interface, is there in asl a security for it that it already exists. if not could this also be included.

I agree with karabela,
because it accidently happened to me last night with an appliance.......
..... and i had only a laptop with me

Would be great if WebAdmin could give a warning to the user !!!!

i was testing an appliance with 12 nics. accidantly gave one of the nics the same ip. [:(]
