Connect to Internet

I am new to Astaro and just install Astaro v.5 in Pentiume 4.

I have installed 3 NIC as follows:

eth0: Internal (192.168.1.1 Mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway none)

eth1: External (10.0.0.1 Mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway 10.0.0.2 ADSL Ehternet Modem)

eth2: Internal-1 (192.168.2.1 Mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway none)

Client configuration as follows:

IP: 192.168.1.2 Mask 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.1.1

all three interface is Up,, now problem that I can't ping ADSL modem (10.0.0.2) while from Astaro command I can ping ADSL modem (10.0.0.2).

did you add a masquerading from internal network to the external interface?

login into webmin->network -> nat/masquerading -> choose rule type masquerading -> give it a name -> for network choose internal network -> for interface choose extarnal interface.
that´s it
and kafsar, please take a little look at the manual. There were people who worked hard to write it down and i think we should show them a little respect

now I can ping ADSL modem, but still not Internet.

take a look at packetfilter-> icmp or at your packetfilter rules
