First of all thanks for your report. So can you give me more information of your test environment ?
CPU, Board, RAM, HDD a.s.o. ? Can you do following command at the shell (as root).
"hwinfo > /tmp/hwinfo.txt" and "lsmod > /tmp/lsmod.txt"
Can you send me these files at hardware@astaro.com. I will check it and add the Adaptec 39160 at the HCL-5. If you test more hardware in the future can you send a report at hardware@astaro.com. Such reports help us to add supported hardware at the HCL and the other users can profit by it. [;)]
