Up2Date and Pattern Update Problems

Hi, I haven't had any problems with this part of ASL, until the GA update to 5.005 where I am now getting the following message when trying to perform any form of updates.

000 System Up2Date: Started System Up2Date
001 Running Version: 5.005
002 Checking Authentication Servers ...
003 1 Authentication Server: 216.167.31.83
004 2 Authentication Server: 212.126.210.201
005 Use of uninitialized value in exists at /PerlApp/Astaro/logging.pm line 357.
006 Could not register Astaro::logging:callerName() at /PerlApp/Modules/ulog.pm line 54.

try to update to version 5.006 fixes this bug:

ID1003 Pattern Up2Date does not work in some rare config conditions

Cheers, but the setup here is pretty standard, and is even in a lab, so nothing that special.

Fobe is correct

You have to download and install the 5.006 up2date manually from ftp.astaro.com.

In most cases this will fix the error u are getting

Mike, cheers for that have just manually installed 5.006 and it seems to be working fine.

no problem glad to help.. fobe was also correct.
just you have to manually update.
hope your testing goes well. Astaro is a fine product. :-)
