i just updated to the latest version (5.006).
after the updates where installed i also updated the ips rules manually (i am using a home-user license).
the moment after the update-window showed me that the ips updates where installed i lost connection to the firewall and to the internet.
- no ping to the firewall
- no ping to any internet site
- no webaccess
- no nothing
this lasted for about 4-5 minutes. after that everything worked just fine, like nothing happened.
did someone experienced the same?
is this expected behaviour?
what happens if i enable auto-patternupdate for ips and av on an hourly basis? will i loose network connectivity every hour?
