5.006 NIC SYS ID don`t match on WebAdmin and shell

My NIC configuration:
Onboard VIA VT6102 [Rhine-II] 
DFE-580TX 4 Port

During ASL 5.005 [GA-ISO] setup i configured my "inside" NIC as eth0 and anchored it to my onboard NIC [VIA Rhine-II]...

The Hardware List in WebAdmin says:

SysID - Name/Parameters
-------------------------------------------
eth0 - D-Link DFE-580TX
eth1 - D-Link DFE-580TX
eth2 - D-Link DFE-580TX
eth3 - D-Link DFE-580TX
eth4 - VIA VT6102 [Rhine-II]

If you edit your Interface settings, the wrong hardware is also listed and after selecting the right one, Webadmin is dead.

On shell you are able to fix this...

Well, it is very difficult to configure your FireWall if you have to guess the right NIC.

For example: eth0 => eth4  [:S]

Any proposals?

    Hi,

    this happens if two or more NICs share the same IRQ. Unfortunately, there is no possibility for software to reliably detect the hardware in this case. But you can be  sure that the MAC addresses for the cards are correct.

    As a workaround, you could try to avoid the IRQ sharing by rearranging the cards in PCI slots or by BIOS settings (It's a good approach besides of this issue) . We are working on solution that will avoid confision.
