maybe a silly question but how do I allow HTTPS to use port 8443 ? HTTPS shows up in 'services' with port 433 and status 'static'. How do I add port 8433 ?
As far as I know, you can't actually change HTTPS from TCP port 443. The internet powers that be have assigned various services to various ports. FTP = 21; SMTP = 25; POP = 110, etc, etc.
What exactly are you trying to do?
