With the risk of sounding like a complete gumby, can someone PLS help me setup my internet sharing.

I am in the process of learning. So excuse me.

I have the Astaro box installed but I have absolutely no idea how to set up internet access for averone on the LAN.
I am using ADSL and internet access for the Astaro box is setup and working fine, just can't access the internet via the LAN.

Here is some information:

Firewall IP: 192.168.2.100
A Client IP: 192.168.2.1
Submask: 255.255.255.0

I need a step by step idiots guide in trying to get internet access for the machines connecting through the firewall.

    hey, what helped me as i was starting out was looking here: http://docs.astaro.org/guidebooks/setup/

    both the "guidbook" and "initial_setup", while being written for v4, still helped me get the idea of how to configure astaro ... what you're looking for is something called Masqurading to share a single broadband connection for all your home machines to access the internet.  you'll probably want to set the Astaro to be a DHCP server too, those documentst talk about that.

    for all the other questions you'll have which those docs don't answer, use the search feature on this board and you'll usually find that somene else has had the same thing (or darn close) to what you need to find out.

    hope that helps as a starting point.
