Installation Problem V5

I have problems with the installation of Astaro Security Linux V5.
All the steps through the installation works perfect, then the patiotions are created and then the installation packages were copied. No problems up to here. But then after a little time I get an error during the package installation. When I press ALT+F3 to see the detailed installation steps I see the following error:

Installíng ep-up2date-5.0-55.i586.rpm
unpacking of archive faild on file /sbin/ainstall: cpio: read failed - Input/output error
An error occured

I have tried an other CD, but the same problem occured.

In V4 everything works perfectly.

What´s the problem?

maybe a broken file (due to download!?)
md5 / crc is ok?

Does sound to be a faulty ISO burn. Download a fresh iso image from Astaros ftp site. (ftp://ftp.astaro.com/pub/Astaro_Security_Linux/iso_image/i386/v5.0/asl-5.001-040408-4.iso) Burn the new iso onto CD. You may want to also clean your CD / DVD drive due to the input output error.

go into your bios and try to disable DMA. I am wondering if there is not a bug in the DMA code and it arises in some hardware configurations.

I had the same problem installing v5 (but another file couldn't be installed), i tried a lot of settings and burned the iso again, but it didn't help.
After having tried nearly everything, i decided to give another cd-drive a try...and it worked.
My drive was so far ok, but the only thing i couldn't do with was installing the astaro firewall v5.
