Installation Problem at Step 3 (ASL V 5.001)

Everytime I try to install ASL V 5.001, it aborts at step 3 where it detects hardware, with the message, "Installation Failed! Remove the CD and restart your system!". Could there be a problem with the hardware or something else since I am already running ASL V 4.021 on that hardware.

    ok, joke... i guess it could be usefull if you would post your hardware configuration.
    did you allready have a look at the list of supported hardware for ASL V5?
