What is a good multi-port NIC

Can anyone provide some feedback on what is a good multi-port NIC that works well with Astaro and you could still get today (no end of life products)

    I use a Compaq (Intel NC3122) dual port NIC in my ASL v4 box. It works fine. It is the equivalent of having two Intel Pro100 cards in one PCI slot. Each of the two Ethernet circuits are on a separate IRQ, which is something that I also like.

    I got my dual Ethernet card cheap, on eBay. If you buy one used, you want the kind that has three large chips on it. Two Ethernet chips and one PCI bridge chip. Dual port Ethernet cards with many chips on them are older designs. Stay away from those.
