Hi,
Firstly I'd like to say what a great job the Astaro guys have done with the V5 user interface [:)]
I am trying to install as many network cards as I can with a 100IP licence, but it is proving very difficult. All of the cards I've tried are on the V4 HCL or have been mentioned by others as working with Astaro.
The problem appears to be Astaro getting confused with network cards sharing the same IRQ. It is my understanding that it is OK to share PCI IRQ's - does Astaro support this?
This is current setup on V4.017:
eth0 VIA Technologies, Inc.VT6105 [Rhine-III]
irq=11 mac=00:10:5C:E6:AB:A0 type=eth
eth1 3Com Corporation3C905B Fast Etherlink XL 10/100
base=ea500000 irq=12 mac=00:10:5A[:D]5:3A:44 type=eth io=d000 0b.0
eth2 Intel Corp.NC3121 Fast Ethernet NIC (WOL)
irq=10 mac=00:08:C7:25:9E:1F type=eth
eth3 Intel Corp.NC3121 Fast Ethernet NIC (WOL)
irq=10 mac=00:08:C7:91:B2:B6 type=eth
eth4 Intel Corp.NC3131 Fast Ethernet NIC (dual port)
irq=11 mac=00:08:C7:91:B2:B7 type=eth
eth0 seems to work fine. eth1 doesn't work (the card is tested as OK). eth3 must be one of the ports of the dual port NC3131 but is labelled as a NC3121.
V5 also gets it wrong, but even worse - the VIA card is mixed up with one of the NC3131 ports.
What can I do to make this right?
Regards,
Rob
