I'm having a problem with my Astaro firewall installation where the system looses it's WAN interface about every 12 hours. If I reboot the system the link comes back up only to drop again in approx 12 hours. I'm running ver 4 with up2date and I verified that I am up to date.
I'm not Unix literate but I was pretty comfortable with setting up Astaro. I have looked through all the various Astaro logs and I don't see any obvious errors. If I am on my LAN I can get to my DMZ so those interfaces still work when the WAN fails. I tried swapping out the computer which has a built in NIC that is used for the WAN. I used the same hard drive that astaro is installed on and the same NICs that are used for the LAN and DMZ. The problem is still the same on the new computer so it seems unlikely that the WAN Nic is to blame.
I am actual a bit desperate to find a solution since I am leaving on a 2 week trip this evening and I only have one more shot to get this to work today before I leave. My question is if there is someplace I can look to pinpoint the problem? I am inclined to re-install Astaro and restore my configuration so that I can rule out the hard drive and a source of the problem but I realize I am just shooting in the dark.
Any help today would be greatly appreciated.
