WLAN link up but no TCP/IP connections (V5)

I have successfully used Astaro V4 on a Toshiba Magnia SG20 appliance as an wlan access point (Netgear MA401). In V5 however, TCP/IP connections fail with wlan clients:

1. Link to client is up, maximum quality, WEP 104 enabled
2. FW IP is 192.168.1.99, AP IP is 192.168.1.98, DHCP is off for all
3. I enabled traceroute to FW, ping, a test PF rule any/any/all and access to FW from WLAN_IF+LAN. 
4. I can't connect to the FW via WLAN, no ping/traceroute, no ssh ...nothing. The link is still up. The client IP is 192.168.1.202, no default gw (XP). All other network cards are disabled on the client.

Is there a setting/rule which I have to make? I've made the standard settings in networks->interfaces to activate the AP and left dhcp off, like the doc says.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    I have retested and found the same problem with a standard PC with a pcmcia (msi hermes 845).

    There is no TCP/IP connection possible using the WLAN card using an internal prism card (netgear ma401) for the astaro as access point card. 

    It works just fine with other iptables/hostap based Linux installations, so I assume that this is an Astaro V5 issue. Not tested with V4 however. Maybe just a rule missing, but all cable based traffic (webadmin, proxy, mail etc.) works just fine and so should the wlan traffic - filters are all set for "internal network" which includes wlan_network.

    At least the webadmin should work...because it is allowed for "internal network". 

    WLAN options are set to access point, see my first posting.

    I thought it could be a Magnia issue but now...so if somebody can confirm that this is an issue with V5, I can then at least stop searching...

    How did you get the SG20 to recognise the wireless card?

    I install it on a laptop and then transfer it across but it the card is not recognised.

    my Hermes MSI Barebone has a built-in onboard PCMCIA Interface. I simply plugged in the MA401 during installation of Astaro 5.001 and switched the HD after aliasing the other interfaces to the Magnia.
