Need help with import backupfile

I have installed today ASL 5 and i do like it says in the pdf file first installed new licencekey for ASL 5 when i import my update from ASL 4.021 it says evulation copy 30 days. And if i try to install the licence agian for ASL 5 i have no response from webadmin.

I think you have to update your license to v5 on the Astaro website.

I did update my licence key to v5 on Astaro website. I will try tomorrow again and see if it works becuse we use internet right now here and i have not more computers to try on. The dhcp config for me not came with my import from v4.021

I mentioned in another post the dhcp did not make it over for me..i reinstalled and it made it over..i had to tell ASL to listen on the internal interface and my settings made it this time..seems to be a hit or miss proposisiton..[:)]

I have tryed to install v5 again all is fine i can import my backup from v4.021 but when i install my licence for v5 webadmin stops respons and i can´t access internet. What can i do?

I had this same problem... I applied the license file for v5, restored the backup from 4.021 and then recieved an error that the install was a trial. To resolve it, I reapplied the v5 license and rebooted the firewall from the console login as the webadmin stopped responding. Good Luck!

Did you ensure you used the upgrade my v4 key to v5 in my.astaro.com?
here is how i got it to work after hittingthe same issue..install v5..then setup your passwords and stuff at initial webmin login..import your v4 settings....then install the v5 key.

Yes i have upgrade my licence key in my.astaro.com and download it tom y computer. If i import my v4 settings and later install v5 key my webadmin stops respons for me.

it takes like 5 minutes on some hardware...what is your cpu and ram?

The import of the file is no problem. But the problem be when i install v5 licence file after couple of minutes webadmin not responce any more. I use P2 400MHz RAM 384 if i read pdf file from astaro it is P2 minimum for install.

My import from v4 to v5 i get it worked but i will not run v5 becuse v5 have no IPS and i can´t call v5 firewall without IPS. So i use v4 again.
