Losing connection

Hello!

im a real newbie on this whit linuxbased systems so bare whit me plz... [:$]

I have just gotten a Astaro server up and running very smothly as far to the boot sequenc [;)]

After about 30 minutes i losing all connections whit both internet and the webadmin interface.

Networkcards is Dlink 560 tx

Ok lets cut to it then ask me the questions and i will answer as good as i can and hoppfully some sweet soul out ther can tell me whats wrong..

I would try installing ASL with different Ethernet cards.

Go with top-of-the-line name brand cards such as Intel E100 or 3Com 3C905.

Make a backup op your configuration first, then take the machine down, swap out the Ethernet cards, reinstall ASL and bring the configuration backup back in.

Other things to check:

Do you have enough RAM in the machine?
ASL v4 should have at least 128 MB.

Hardware components sometimes show early failure by going thermal. They work fine when cold, but once they warm up they fail. It can be a bit of an ordeal at times to identify such components.
