ASL on EPIA M6000

I'm using ASL 4.0 on a AMD Athlon PC and I'm very happy about it. 
Recently I tried to install it also on an VIA EPIA M6000 board but the onboard eth is not recognized.
I saw in this forum that ASL 3.219 works on EPIA so I took a step backward and freshly installed it.
Still no success: everything works fine but the onboard eth is dead.
Does anyone have a good tip, driver, whatever to resolve this issue ?

    im using the latest version of astart on a EPIA CL and it all seems to be working fine.

    well it does now i made a stupid mistake that had me banging my hand against my head the other day.
