setup problems

I recently installed astaro and seem to be having a few problems with setting up a second NIC.

whenever i try to add the second NIC and try to bring it up astaro crashes.

my current setup is as follows.

NIC 1 : 192.168.2.250
ADSL router: 192.168.2.1

what settings should i be using for adding the second NIC? im wondering if there is where im going wrong?

Also something else which may be a problem im running a mini-ITX CL [dual nic] could this be contributing to my problem?

    Why dont you allow ASL to handle the internet connection ? What type of router are you using ? When you say that you are crashing when installing the second nic what parameters are you putting in ? Can you post what you have done and a diagram of your network. Maybe with more solid information someone can help....
