Hi all! I'm a student from Italy and my english is not very good.
I try to explain my question.
I have two PCs at home. A recent PC with XP and an old PC with an AMD 200Mhz processor and 128Mb RAM where I want to install Astaro to make the firewall job. Is it possible?

    What type of internet connection do you have ? Do you have broadband ? You say that you have 2 computers one a newer XP machine and the other a older 200 MHz machine. Typicaly you would want to use an older PII machine to do the job for ASL It does not really need alot of processing. Of course with version 5.0 I see alot of folks are using pIII machines 500 MHz and 256 mb of ram. 

    With version 4.021 I just use a PII 266 MHz machine with 128 mb of RAM 8 gig hardrive and it would with no problems.  You may want to dive through the forums a litte because some people have had a few problems installing on AMD

    Give it a try, I ran v4 on a Pentium 200 w/64mb ram for a long time until I found a cheap PIII 450mhz processor.  Regardless, I couldn't tell a difference upgrading to the 450.  Well maybe web admin was a tad faster, but thats about it.  200mhz should be fine.  The only issue that might arrise is with the K5/K6 chip you've got.  Try installing it with the "noapci" flag and it might work.

    Yes, I have a broadband connection (ADSL).
    Tomorrow I'll try to install ASL on my K6 200Mhz old PC with the "noapci" flag.
