Gbit NIC level one GNC-0105T // modul r8169

Hello,

i just got the level one gigabit NIC, would like to install it into my asl-box.
they offer a linux-driver r8169.c and makefile.
i don't know how to install it into asl-box (best to keep it activ with uptodates ... )

can someone tell me?
or where to find a list of supported gbit-cards?

    If you have the pluspack installed make sure your kernel is the same as what you are running on your ASL box, 4.016 is 2.4.22.  Edit your makefile to make sure your extraversion matches and compile.

    Your other choice is to have another distro with the kernel source that matches ASL and then change your extraversion in your kernel makefile and compile.

    Either way you should not have any problems.

    i'll have to install this on some machine ...
    lets see which takes longer ... [;)]
