high cpu usage for mdw_deamon.pl

I am currently running astaro 4.019 on a AMD XP 2700+ with 1 gig of ram and 3 intel EtherExpress PRO/100 hooked into a cisco router on a T1 line. Everything is running great, but the cpu usage is around 51%, and has been steadily increasing by about 1 or 2% every few days of uptime. The process that is using up all the cycles is:

root       425 27.9  4.3 192588 39736 ?      S    Jan28 1044:31 ./mdw_deamon.pl

is this normal? on the previous install I did not notice such high cpu usage on that process. the machine also has 250 ips aliased to the external nic, but I dont think that could cause this. 

Any help would be great

    the mdw_daemon.pl is your middleware. It checks every time, if any change have been made. I think 27.9 % CPU usage are high for that process, but it depends on your configuration.If your config is huge, the cpu load might be o.k. Do you see any errors in your daemon and mdwlog which could be associated with the cpu load?
