I am upgrading my ASL hardware from System 1 to System 2 ( Basically going from a Pentium 200mhz to a Pentium III 450mhz, see below) by just swapping the harddrive from my current ASL setup to the new computer. Will there be any future detremental repercussions by doing this? Will I need to re-install ASL in System 2 so the right hardware and optimized kernels, drivers, ect are installed or will a simple reboot reprobe and reinstall the new items?
System 1 (first ASL system which ASL was installed on)
Pentium 200mhz
64MB Ram
20GB HDD
System 2
Pentium III 450mhz
384MB Ram
20GB HDD (Same HDD from System 1).
