Update v2.xx -> v4.xx

Hi Folks,

a long time ago i installed astaro v2.xx (cant remember the exact version), we evaluated it but the used the MS ISA Server because it fits our needs.
Now we decided the we need a new firewall solution and bought ASL 4.0. 

Because i did a lot of configuration in this ASL 2.xx i wonder if i could import these settings in ASL 4.xx !?

Is there any chance ?

    Only chance would be to import your ASL2-bakup into a ASL3.
    Then import a ASL3-backup into ASL4.
    Make sure to use the appropriate newest version.

    But I do not recommend you to do so, because there were a lot of changes (many new features in V4). I would recommend you to make a clean new V4-configuration.

    why do you change the firewall?

    i don't use ISA but i plan to use ISA as additional
    firewall to use features astaro don't have.
