Uptodate 4.017 + 4.018

after installing uptodate 4.017 and 4018 the traffic over my asl box slows down http-sites are comming seeable slower and my bzflag-onlinegame shows me a higher lagtime its before update to 4.017or 4.018 around 100ms and after new installing 4.008 and udating to 4.015 its the same around 100ms but with 4.017 or 4.018 its around 300-400ms.
My asl-box (home) is a P2 266MHz with 4GB SCSI-HDD 400MB RAM and 2Nic's.
Has anyone else seen this at his asl-fw ?

Just http or all traffic?

Any entries in your kernel logfile? If all traffic is affected, maybe a problem with your mtu size.

Hi,
its http/https with using or not the proxy. And its bzflag-online game. on ftp its not so easy to see a delay and other things are not used.
The mtu if its the thing must set to a new value trough uptodate ..?
The Logfiles ae telling .... nothing what matters to this.
