Can´t reach the router

Hello,

we are online via DSL and use a router for PPOE ( 192.168.100.254).  Our Network (192.168.1.0) can reach the internet. Everything is fine but i cannot acces the router to configure anything.

Config: 

eth0 192.168.1.99
eth1 192.168.100.252
router 192.168.100.254

default gw 192.168.100.254

It is not possible to traceroute the router. Even when traceroute from firewall is enabled. 

I´m wondering , why i can get to the internet if the route should be wrong.

    Hi,
    how do you access the internet via http proxy or via ruleset?

    If you use the http-proxy did you set a route back to your internal network in the cisco with the asl as your gateway (set via  serial-console)?

    Are you Masquerading yout internal network to your ASL external interface? If not, that may be the issue. My router won't allow internal administration if it isn't from an IP on the same subnet. If you don't want to Masq, then just create a SNAT rule for your router as the destination address.
    What router are you using?
