So what happens on Jan 9th when my license expires

You can copy and paste it from the registration portal - the license won't be send via e-mail.

I understand that you can copy the license from the registration portal, but what I don't understand is why I can't get beyond the login screen on the registration portal?  I've registred my username and password, yet it still won't let me log in.   [:S]  

You have an email with your username and password for the registeringportal? Write in your username and password and send a recuset for a home user licence. 

I never received an e-mail confirmation after registering my information in the portal.  Also, using the "forgotten password" feature at the bottom doesn't seem to work.  I've yet to recieve it in an e-mail.

When you register you in there did you give a valid emailadress? And are the emailadress yours ? 

Yep, I used my personal valid e-mail address and all my personal information was correct.  

Astaro Security Linux Staff:  I believe there might be some issues with the Registration portal.  I've been trying for a couple days now to get registered and logged in, yet every time I receive no e-mails or access to the portal to request the home user key.
    

Try to register again and se what happends 

I tried it the first time with my personal email address from the university  xxxxx@tamu.edu

I tried it again a few hours ago with my ISP e-mail address xxxx@cox-internet.com

And I've gotten zero reply from either address and neither address will allow me into the portal  [:S]  

I have no problem then i register me. Can you use https from you computer? 

When I tried to register again with an e-mail address I've already used, it came up with a "duplicate e-mail address" error, so obviously, my information is in the system but the portal won't let me in  [:S]

Yep, and I've tried it with Mozilla 1.5 and Internet Explore 6 SP1.
I'm going to give it another try with another system on a different network. 

Well it didn't work.  I did however, notice a syntax error on the popup https window the portal uses.  Using IE 6.0 the error says:

I now throw myself at the mercy of Astaro Tech Support.  

Well, Jan 9th has arrived, and as expected, I am locked out of my ASl box(License Expired, enter License).  

I am still UNABLE to get past the initial login screen for the webportal on www.astaro.com and attempting to request my username/password also fails (I never receive an e-mail with my reset password).  I've also tried using another completely seperate e-mail address to register and that also fails!  Please help as I've been trying for over a month to log into and use the Web Portal/Registration page, yet each time it fails!
