No Ping and WedAdmin after update to 4.017

how big is your HD?
can you post a "df -h"  or "Reporting->Hardware"?  

i have only a ~2,4GB HHD. and i removed all the zipped logfiles. now it looks like this:

I did an update from 4.016 ISO using 4.017 Up2Date with no issues so far..[:)]  Will keep informned if problems are found.  

No problems experiences on either upgrade from 4.015 to 4.016 to 4.017. These both took place on Dell PowerEdge 350 servers with IDE 40GB drives. 

I did note a couple of "module not found" messages when attempting to load IDE modules, however it doesn't seem to have affected functionality in my case.

These are production boxes. Unfortunately I didn't see the "do not upgrade" post until after I had performed the upgrades. Fortunately, I'm not affected by the problem.

Doesnt seem to be any problems for me either using 4.017.

I'm running mine on a toshiba SG20 

I am having no problems at all.

Everything is a go!  

No problems, regarding the Up2Date.

I have a LEX LIGHT box with VIA Eden 533 CPU, 256 MB SDRAM, 2.5" 20GB Hitachi HD and 3 Realtek NIC's.

I've had some problems earlier with the box "dying", but nothing with the update. The machine is in test use, so there is not very heavy load on it.  

No problems, regarding the Up2Date from 4.016
Asus P4PE, 533FSB, ATX, Intel 845PE, Sockel 478, Giga-Lan (Broadcom)
Celeron CPU 2.4 MHz, 512 MB DDR, 40 GB HD

updates:
- i've installed 4.017 on another machine, no problems, backup from the last config of our 4.016 system, 1 Intel Pro1000 and a 3Com 905 network card
- the original system is reinstalled with the 4.017 iso-image, same problems like yesterday after the update from 4.016 to 4.017
- it seems that there is a problem with the network cards (Intel EE Pro 100+ Desktop)
- i will try now a reinstall with the 4.016 iso-image and a restore from the latest backup

can you post "cat /proc/pci" form the box with the 'Intel EE Pro 100+ Desktop'?
Did you use the "classic" kernel during the 4.017 ISO installation?
Can you try a "default noapic acpi=off" on the boot prompt line?
