General Installation Question for Router Config

Hi,

I test with the astaro firewall, and I build a machine with 3 Network interfaces. The 1st is my internal network in the ip-range of 10.250.0.x, the second is the interface to my Bingo Router with IP-range of 192.168.13.x and the third will be a DMZ in the future. All works fine with internet, E-Mail and all other rules. My only problem is to configure the router via telnet from my PC. Astaro Linux has no telnet installed, so I couldn't go by ssh to astaro and there by telnet to my router. My PC has the IP 10.250.0.10 and I couldn't go by telnet direct to the router. So I always have to unplug the router, plug it to a notebook for configuration. I think, there must by a better direct way, but I don't know how???

Hi Hans,

did you establish a rule for your telnetting?
like
ip of your pc to ip of your router -->allow
and did you enable masquarading?

with these two commands it should work.

Many thanks!!!! I added the rule for allowing telnetting between this 2 interfaces and all works!!!
