PPP over ethernet

Hi All,
My broadband provider is switching from a pure ethernet system of connections to one using pppOe as the link between my network and theirs. So basically the connection from my astaro box to the internet would need to be pppOe. Can this be done?

PPPoE is the devil's work [:)]
No problem (usually) switching it. Just edit the interface when the time comes, Type is listed and you choose PPPoE and give it the specifics. And remove any QOS options if you have them.

As soon as the replacement memory (Don't ask, but it involved a 4 year old helping dad work on the pc!) arrives I'll give it a go. And hopefully soon I'll be able to help answer other beginners easy questions!

I have PPPOE ADSL here and use QOS without a problem...QOS should work just fine..[:)]
