ASL - Installation problem

I tried to install ASL in my Win XP home ed. but after reading the intructions decided to ask for advice.
1. Can I install in my home pc using XP?
2. If I do, the instruction say that all of the contents are going to be erased.
3. Should I get a machine with nothing in it to be able to install the firewall?

1.-2. yes you can however the machine will be erased and ASL will be the only thing running..you have to install using either the cd-rom iso(the easiest way) or there is a floppy installation method.
3. Unless you want your home PC waxed with no chance of recovery i would use another pc..[:)]

You definitly need a whole PC for ASL everything else will be erased.
You could use a (VMWare) on your XP to install ASL with XP. But that method is for testing only. I do not recommend you to use a ASL in a VMWare for productiv use [:)]
