ASL do not boot

Hello
My problem is, the ASL v4 installation works realy fine but after the reboot shows me the display only LI and stop to boot I think it should mean LILO  
What is the Problem? 
Is it the Hardware?

    I had this the other day when I was reinstalling on some backup hardware when my firewall died.

    Its to do with how your hard drives are setup master/slave and in the bios.

    Try putting the cdrom as master on its own ide connector and the hard drive as master on the other ide connector, or swapping the connectors, I think that sometimes leaving the drives as "Cable Select" causes this problem as well.

    Bad news is you may have to reinstall.

    Hello...

    LI is some kind of Error-Code from the bootloader LILO, it means that the
    first stage boot loader was able to load the second stage, but failed to
    execute it.

    Could be a problem with the disc geometry. Could you write a little bit more about your hardware (IDE or SCSI), disc setup, disc size or which mainboard you use?

    If you use a modern IDE drive, have a look to your BIOS settings, e.g. LBA-mode etc...
