Cannot create bootable CD from iso...

I have extracted the iso image and burned the CD. My target computer will boot other CD's but not the astaro extracted iso file. Any documentation?

try doing an MD5 hash of the ISO you download and see if it has errors.

The iso looks fine... what should be in the root directory on the CD? Can I simply extract the ISO and burn it as is to the CD? or should I only burn the isolinux subdirectory to the CD root?

if you want to extract then you also have to extract the bootimage.

what program do you use.

i use nero and it works fine. the speed of your cdromplayer could also be the problem. try burning on a lower speed.
