SSH problem with ASL v4

I am using ASLv4 and have the latest patches installed as of 9/26/03.

The firewall is working great, but I have one problem.

I want to be able to login remotely via SSH. I enabled SSH access from any network, and added a user for myself via webadmin. My username can also use webadmin.

Not matter which username I use, my username/password is always denied. I am trying to connect via Putty on Win32.

What is going wrong?

I think I have putty setup correctly. I checked the docs, and there is noting in there that I can find that I haven't already done, aside from setting up an external LDAP or RADIUS authentication source.

    I believe it only lets you in as loginuser (you gave that account a password on the first page of the webadmin install, remember?). Once you logon to that account, you can then su to root...

    P.S. I suspect that one's been asked already; next time don't neglect trying a Search first).
