So I gather that it doesnt support modems or USB because they not on the list ??

A simple Yay or Nay would suffice 

that's the best I can do.  It's not on  the list, but you can always try it.

I personally don't have one to try, so I can't tell you yay or nay.

I dont see any modems on the list, only NICs which is why I am confused.

Hi alltogether,

USB network devices are definetively not supported. As far as I could find out it isn't a big deal to activate the serial port  to gain a console access via serial so it should be also possible to access at least the shell via modem. But I couldn't figure out how to use it as a real interface to connect to the internet yet.
